System recovery is not the answer.
1. Right click drive C, choose properties-->tools--->disk cleanup.
2. If you enjoy any movies, try burning them, and delete it from your hard disk.
3. click start-->search-->files and folders. on the dig out criteria, search for files larger next 500MB (500000KB).
If you recognize any files, and don't have need of it, just delete it,
and don't forget to vacant your recycle bin afterwords

goto start\system tools\disk cleanup\more options\system restore cleanup, this will delete all but your most recent system restore point you will find you will probably procure a couple of gigs back at tiniest good luck
System restore won't oblige with complicated drive space. You might be thinking of something else?

The easiest solution is to delete programs and files you don't want.

The next easiest is to buy an external knotty drive and copy all the information files (if you have lots of movies, pictures, etc) to it. But, if you enjoy lots of programs...that won't do much for you.

Delete the programs you don't use. Go to control panel, and add/remove programs to see what's there.

These days 52.2 GB sturdy drives don't do much. You might want to install a second hard drive inside your computer to complement the first.

You could do it yourself, it's in reality pretty easy, if you read a book or an article on it.
