What are adjectives the specs i should upgrade to on the iMac I am going to find?

I am going to be buying an iMac from the apple website soon and I want to know what all the stuff i should take on it from the customization page. http://store.apple.com/1-800-my-apple/we... here is all the choices. I am going to mostly be using it for medium like pictures and music and for conservatory work. I don't need it to be super powerful but still pretty nifty. I also need to know it if comes near something similar to microsoft office (i.e. word processor, spreadsheat, something resembling a power point) And one last piece, will it work with my wireless internet or will i own to get a special adapter for it?

Please only make a index of all the things i should carry on it (including the software)

it won't have Microsoft organization. that's the only entry you will need. you can grasp Microsoft Office for Mac from Apple's website. BUY THIS AND NOT SOME IMITATION! that way you can use your documents on PC's

You may want to wait for the brand new operating system to come out. within a few months, Apple will be releasing Leopard and adjectives their computers will shipp with it.
it'll hold all you involve out of the box - no need for serious upgrades or anything close to that at all
If you are looking for something similar to Microsoft Office that will run on your Mac you can try this,

It is compatible beside MSO, runs on the MacBook under OS X and is free.

Other than that you shouldn't have need of anything else unless you want to do serious multi-media then you might want to bring a package resembling Final Cut.
