Answers:
Hey i installed my office for mac on 10 computers, nil happen.
If you erased your weak computer, and install it on the new computer it is without fault legal.
if you didn't remuneration for it... you agree to not use it in the EULA that you adopt.
also, once it is used... it's used. it's not for as many computers you want... it's merely for 1 system.
it is true that most of the time you wont be caught... but the new validation tools are getting instrument better at catching it so I would say to purchase a contemporary key
it should not be illicit if you completely re format your hard drive
How are you going to install XP lacking the CD? The knob you have will singular work with a compact disc provided by the MFR of your PC. They keys are assigned by group of CDs, and MFRs bring back their own OEM version, modified for that MFR. If you buy a copy, it will hold a new RETAIL knob.
Contact your pc MFR, and see how much to capture a CD.
This is an natural question. If you bought your PC beside HP, Dell, Gateway, or vendors that use OEM version of the XP OS the answer is that you can't legaly install the OS in another PC. There are some vendor like HP that bind the installation (setup disk) to the BIOS making it impossible (have not see anyone breaking this yet) to install in another electrical device even though you have the serial number and software.
If you bought the software and builded your workstation you can format and install in another computer.
There are enterprise license that you can install as many as you approaching and don't have to input a serial number during the installation.
In your bag you should check which vendor is your prior laptop. If you have HP you are done! Get a unknown license on that case.
