How can you reformat a window xp/pro short the disk?

Theres in recent times one way to do it,very soon when install any operating system on your computer,you have to copy the fresh copy of the installed OS and stockpile it,now unless you hold done that,theres no way you can reformat lacking the disc.I forgot the name of the procedure but what it does is remove your infected OS and replaces it near the fresh copy of the OS that you saved at first.

you can formatt the windows xp short a disk but the hard bit is that after formatting you wont be able to set it up again or you can use some external memory to boot your disk
FDISK
The FDisk utility is no longer supplied beside recent Windows operating systems.
To reset disk partition information - boot using the install disc and choose the install/repair option.
To do a Hard Disk reformat completely outside of Windows you can use FDISK from Windows 95, 98 or ME see Q255867
Alternatively here are many third carnival formatting utils such as GDISK that will do the same entry.

You can reformat your concrete drive - no problem. make a bootable floppy disk or compact disc and reformat.
Now getting the operating system back on your PC/hard drive - THAT is another story!

I own never done it this way, but it should work, slave the HD you want to reformat into another computer, and do it from near.
Not sure if that would work, just an opinion.
