Desktop PSU 450 watt vs SLI Graphic Card?

Can anyone give an account me whether a 450Watt ( norminal ) Power Supply
sufficient for SLI Graphic Card and SLI Motherboard . ?

Get a 550W minimum.
Should be all right for low closing SLI. For 2 x GeForce 8800GTX, 900 to 1000 watts is usual
Real question would be why? Usually a SINGLE video card can stomp adjectives sli and crossfire cards, unless running at extremely high resolutions (2048 by 1600+). Would be far better getting 2gb knock against total and one very well-mannered video card.
