are you discussion about the AC adapter? they are different for respectively brand of computer, so you should call the businessman (Dell, Sony, Apple...)

You can use the same cord that come alongwith the comp...alternatively any cord which is similar to the one which you are using presently will do fine...the fan which is located subsequent to the power connector is part of the power supply component and you need not verbs about it...once you enjoy a power cord it will work fine...
try radio shack,wal-mart,staples,all power cords are like peas in a pod,just brand sure the pinning is correct,my daughter and I use the same power cord for our towers,it works on both.
All you would want is a standard power cord that normally comes beside computers. No special cord is needed.

Walmart has cheap power cords. If you lug your cord down there you can game it up if you are not familiar beside computer hardware. You can also go to Radioshack (overpriced) or any computer store. Honestly I chew over walmart is cheapest.
I don't generally ever cart them out of the socket on the surge protector. I work on different computers all the time and use like plug on all sorts of computers. It doesn't business on DESKTOPS for those of you who talked give or take a few there LAPTOPS(no soup for you).
