Computer clock quiz?

My notebook clock looses 29 minutes (no more, no less) every 2 to 3 weeks. Why? Pretty new contraption (2yrs old) so the cmos battery should not be fruitless. And it will not run any slower. It is like in the future "boom" you are now running 29minutes slow.

Answers:
mine loses time to but not that much.
I don't know why
I hold seen a CMOS mobile go discouraging on a machine that be a year old. If your system is underneath warranty i would contact the vendor and request a replacement mobile. Usually you get a error relating you the battery is low but i own seen it not say aloud anything at all.
Wow... that's really funny. But otherwise, howabout settings roughly speaking time synchronization with the internet. It's just about a possibility but maybe the problem.

Good Luck and Happy Computing!
try updating the bios and after set the clock in bios to proper time, if it doesn't by itself. That is the first place you want to start. The bios book is in system information so you can see what you hold. Then check for updates on the website the motherboard comes from for bios updates.
Your battery could be doomed to failure still. You could also have a discouraging CMOS chip. A good item to check would be to right click on the time at the bottom right of your desktop and left click on 'adjust date and time' next click the 'Internet Time' tab and change the time server to another one surrounded by the drop down list. You may not hold one setup or have a doomed to failure one selected.
