PUT YOUR WINDOWS CD IN compact disc DRIVE, GO IN BIOS SETUP BY USING F2 KEY, CHOOSE FIRST BOOTING DEVICE AS CD ROM, SAVE SETTINGS AND EXIT FROM BIOS SETUP.
NOW WHEN YOU PROMPTED "PRESS ANY KEY TO BOOT FROM CD" PRES ANY KEY ON KEYBOARD. THE WINDOWS WILL STARTING TO INSTALL. WHEN IT ASKS YOU FOR FORMAT DRIVE, CHOOSE FORMAT AND CONTINUE.

Stick your xp cd into the cdrom restart the computer and proceed to reinstall xp, within the area a short time ago before install it'll ask if you want to format.read out yes. But back up every article before you do if you can.
If you count next to only not easy drive, then you'll call for a set of boot disk so you can reinstall XP from scratch (meaning as everything is erased, except the programs that originally come next to XP) just grasp a set of 6 floppies, and put the needed files in respectively one of them and reboot with the first floppy inside, consequently it will take you to a blue peak just follow the directions and select to delete your current Partion, and install surrounded by there, and do a FULL NTFS format (not the rushed one) and it should do the rest by itself (except putting the date when its installing Windows and stuff)
When its all over, youll hold yourself a clean computer next to XP installed.
BTW: it needs you to enjoy the floppies because since your going to erase everything in the computer, the computer sort of wants a temporary "backup" of the files needed to format the computer. Without these, your computer would most potential erase this files, and not format everything at all. Also minus these, its happened to me that when I try to install a verbs WinXP again, it gives me an error clich¨¦ that it can erase everything because it needs the files within the bootdisks.
Get a boot disk.
These can be sometimes downloaded for free off sites resembling sf.net but i'd reccomend you to buy a cheap one of sites resembling ebay, with a turn out of "boot disk" and you'll find a tonne of them.
Just chose one, wait for labour, put it in your workstation, press a certain f push button to enter the program before getting into XP. And it will be resembling its own software on its own operating system, and erase the hard disk.
After its erased (may pilfer up to 30mins) get your xp disk and reistall XP
