The game tell you so? or it's written in the winter sport Read-Me...?

2.2GHz are meant for Intel's processors because AMD's enjoy less clock speeds...Clock speeds don't determine the overall speed of a processor by the channel...
hi first of check that you have the correct bus speed and multiplier contained by your bios as this determines the speed of the processor if not ste it contained by small incraments till you get the desired speed you want DO NOT move about crazy and try to push it to far it will burn out and itll take most of the computer beside it good luck hope this help
You could always try overclocking the processor but this can mete out total burnout - not advisable unless you know precisely what you are doing. As mentioned previously the AMD processors do run at a slightly lower clock speed than there Intel counterparts but this shouldn't really trade name too much difference in the winter sport playing, maybe an almost fathomless reduction within reaction speed but otherwise nought.
Don't worry around it as i've got exactly one and the same thing scheduled to me! I have a AMD Athlon 6000 x2 and it boots up saw that it's running at 3.0ghz but when i go into the system folder it's if truth be told running at 3.12ghz and that's the stock speed! Not overclocked one bit.
