I own an amd sempron when somthing requires pentium or better will this still work ?
Answer:
There are very few applications that will solitary work on a specific vendor's CPU.
You can usually do a quick evaluation If you cart the specification for your AMD Sempron CPU such as 1.5 Ghz 2200+, all it resources is that the CPU frequency is set to 1.5 Ghz but AMD claims that it will perform at a stratum equivalent to 2200+ CPU cycles or 2.2 Ghz.
Typically all CPUS will run adjectives applications but obviously a lower position CPU (Sempron is considered ok for your everyday needs but not for resource intensive applications) will execute slower.
Yes it will likely work.
The issue here is CPU competency. If something has a specification for a given CPU, it is best you hold that CPU or a higher interpretation. Failing to meet published requirements merely asks for negative issues.
Yes. AMD have been better than Intel for a long time.
