Haha. That's what Dell and Gateway do!! They seem to be doing moderately well beside that. Actually, that will be your down-fall. The lonely PC builder can barely compete beside the corporate mega-giant on a price-per-unit basis. You gotta enjoy something extra to offer. A lot of citizens sell custom built PCs on eBay beside those fancy plexiglass side cases and top-of-the-line graphics cards, etc. which is something that those giant computer factories dont set aside.

Yea..i don't ruminate why not..Make sure you have appropriate Customer support and also have worthy after sales supports. Customers abhor it when they purchase something and when they have problems near it they have no where on earth to go to. Providing supports would gross the customers come back to you and also recommend you to their friends..Good Luck and all the Best next to your business..
You need to extend something different. You wont compete on price with the big boys. So you necessitate to offer what they can not submit.
For example had you thought of making computers near specialised cases. For example lego, or old grammophones can look really moral made into real working PC's.
