Which is better a Mac or a PC?

Answer:
I close to apples.
Mac running OS X - easy to use, out of harm`s way, virus free, spyware free, great for design and video work. Limited games.

PC running Windows - Good for games. Thousands of viruses, trojans, spyware, adware. Crashes profusely. Very expensive.

PC running Linux - fast, protected, stable = good server. Great hardware support. Wide field of free software. Bad for gaming.
it really depends what you want to do with it...Mac is great for symbolic design, PCs great for just roughly speaking everything else.
Linux's answer hit the spot. Although I wouldn't say the gaming is "Limited" adjectives the big name games that you would want to play are going to be compatible next to the MAC System :)

Mac's are great.
It depends on what you need it for. Mac is most for designers and stuff. And PC is for everyone else.
MAC'S ARE THE BEST IN TH WORLD. YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH A MAC.
I've get a desktop PC I use for gaming, and a PC laptop for work. The Mac is robust, reliable, intuitive, sleek, well designed, right looking.

However, you would get more bang for you buck from a PC. You could get a desktop PC and shove extra RAM, go and get a massive HDD, and even a decent 3D Graphics card beside TV out for not much money, where indistinguishable would buy would a Mac laptop without so much liquid, on paper.

Macs own design applications as part of their heritage, and bar graphics and multitasking in a different mode from PC, so pure numbers don't cover it.

The Dell website would be a good place to travel for a look at baseline PC specs, and you can see some prices, and make a declaration based on your spending power.

Personally, I'd progress for a Mac laptop, depending on how much you have to spend. My is a low spec G4 beside only a 12in peak, so a Powerbook with a bigger blind and more RAM would be the business
for work use mac w\ os x is better. however more games are readly avalable for pc. but near are some games for mac's. also macs most usualy wont need upgradeing for much of anything.
New Macs are using intel peocessors and are vitally identical to PCs on the hardware side. The solely difference is the software ... and the design and price of course. PCs are cheaper.
Also it's possible to install Mac OS X on a usual PC. There is a website with turorials.

its thorny to determine which one is the better of the two. If you are doing graphic and video editing, after you are better off next to a Mac but if its more documents, presentations and databases, then shift with a PC
This adjectives depends on what you are looking for in a computer.

A PC, usually significance a computer that runs the Microsoft Windows brand of operating system and made by a large number of manufacturer are the majority of computers seen contained by businesses and households around the world. Problems may include the following
**Large number of users=larger number of virus makers/viruses/crap programs
**DLL coding
**Microsoft supports only it's software and not the computer hardware
**The hot version of Windows, "Vista", contains elements blatently and honestly copied from Mac OSX

A Mac is a computer manufactured solely by Apple Computer. Macs run on an independent operating system (seperate from Windows) call Mac OSX. These computers have just now been white contained by color or available in an assortment of abnormal colors. Powered previously by IBM PowerPC processors, Apple computer has not long converted it's computer line to processors by Intel. Some reason why people argue that Macs are better computers than PCs include:

**Same company manufacture computer and maintains the operating system
**Fewer virus as only 5-8% of inhabitants use Mac OSX

**Newer Macs include Intel processors and can run both Mac OSX and Windows operating systems using a program known as "Boot Camp"

Some problems include:

Personally, I have an PowerPC iBook G4 Laptop and a Windows XP PC Desktop. So the judgment really lies in what you are looking for. All I can suggest is that you at tiniest try both out before you buy anything.
Ah... the million dollar press...

There is no good answer. It's a personal preferance. Use anything you used to post this message, if you liked the OS. If not, win the other one.
It all depends on what you are you using your computer for:

Mac: Good for: Vid and Pic editing, pic sharing. Bad for: Gaming, paucity of games available

PC: Good for gaming and certain Vid and Pic editing.
Bad: Viruses and Spyware
