Why does BIOS report 3 see of strike when I own 4 gigs installed (NOT OS ISSUE)?

I own a P5B Deuxe WiFi with 4 sticks of 1gb OCZ Memory (OCZ2A8002GK) I own changed memory mapping to "enable" and I enjoy changed voltage to 2.1 These were 2 fixes recommended on the network and they actually help get memory from 2.7 gigs up to 3.1 THIS IS IN BIOS BEFORE MY VISTA 64Bit LOADS and is NOT an OS issue.. Vista reports one and the same amount as BIOS

I wish I know, I have one and the same problem. Bios and Windows report 1GB, but I have 2GB of RAM installed.
What is the MAX amount of RAM the motherboard can
bar ?
Yor Motherboard can hold up to 4 gigs but it probably cant use all of it.
I'm guessing you hold checked each stick alone to see that they are adjectives good?
this is an effortless question as that if u own a 32bit OS system it only can see 3gig strike but if u have an 64bit OS system ur laptop can see up to 32gig ram
Write down the BIOS revision you have currently. Go to the PC or motherboard manufacture website and see if there is a following version. If so, download it as okay as print the instructions on how to flash your BIOS.

If this does not solve the problem, after flashing your BIOS, go to the tab (usually the ultimate one) that allows you to reset the BIOS and reset it to it's default settings. Be sure you write down your current settings until that time resetting the BIOS. Once you have done that, form changes surrounded by the BIOS based on what you hold copied one at a time. If the problem repeats itself then you know the later setting you changed is what is causing the issue. Either confer on the setting alone or go support to the PC or motherboard site and look on their tech support page for similar issues.
