My Dell won't power up.?

I took it within to be fixed back within Feb. It wouldn't power up then, but it have been hit beside a power surge (lightning, wouldn't you know, we had 2 outlets within our rental place that weren't properly grounded. The other one- well, we also lost our TV and unsullied DVD player...anyway that's ancient history). The motherboard was replaced, and I reason the hard drive, too. (Long story how it is that I'm not sure...) Now, suddenly, it does not turn on- the street light comes on and it screams BEEEEEEP!!! BEEEEEP OH, AGONY, BEEEEP!!!! (Yes my computer is a total drama queen.) I've taken it surrounded by again and borrowed one for a few days, but I'd like more opinion on what's wrong than just the service guy's.

Answer:
Those beep you're hearing will in fact tell you where on earth the problem lies.... Count the beeps and permit us know (i.e. three short beeps, or two long beep and one short). you can also yahoo search and find out what the beep mean... sometimes it can be specific to a computer or motherboard brand....my suspicions would be any motherboard or your memory (RAM). Good luck :)
first lets hope you get surge protector power strips after that first fiasco and you had them plugged contained by constantly. It sounds like its not recognize the motherboard again.
