A blue peak pops up on my computer and i cant start it up what should i do?

What does the blue peak say? Most of the time the blue blind appears if you have a virus contained by your computer or some kind of boot directory is corrupted or missing.

try pressing f8 while it is starting up

cut it off-then unplug--start it back--will reboot and be fine
