How do I find the registry on my computer?
Answer:
Go to start menu --> Run...
Type contained by the box: regedit
Registry opens
But be *VERY* mean when altering registry...back it up until that time you start making any changes, and don't metamorphose anything unless you are confident you know what you are doing...you can really mess up a computer through the registry
Type 'regedit' in the run box or 'regedit' on the start scour box in vista

You can view your registry by going to Start-Run and typing "regedit" and hitting OK. Be watchful in in that though, you can really mess up your computer by making changes contained by there. The actual registry files are contained by different locations depending on your specific Windows version, but nearby isn't much you can do with them directly anyway.

I wouldn't recommend it for modern users to windows as one mistake could head to the ending of your system. But if you must type surrounded by run regedit and be careful.
