I am thinking roughly buying a firewire card b/c my comp. doesn't have one...but ummm...how will I know how to put it in my comp to verbs videos from my video camera?

Buy one, spread out the case, plug it into one of the spare PCI slot, turn on computer, if you enjoy Windows 2000 or XP, it should just work.
