In thoery, yes you can. However, it's profusely more complicated than that. Some motherboards can be really really fussy about DDR RAM - what might work on one board, won't necessarily work on another.

Depends on the the TYPE of RAM you are trying to mix. For instance you cannot mix pc2100 next to pc2700. All of your RAM modules must be of the same type.

Hey there! Yes you should be capable of mix them as long as your motherboard supports both types of ram (speed astute.) If they are different speeds, one should clock down to the lower speed of the two.
