You may be ablew to restore your PC to an early date but you need to run some malware removal tools, try AVG anti virus free edition.
Reinstall XP
you can any goto your admin tools in your control panel and see if its a service that you involve to stop.
you can also goto "run..." in your start pole and type. Msconfig. goto the last folder labled "start up" and see if anything contained by there shouldn't be starting beside the computer.
you can also try and google "smitfraudfix" it's a basic but hugely very biddable antivirus program.
