it is possible your motherboard is fried i had like issue with my dell dimension i tried everything the singular way to transmit if your hard drive isnt messed up is to put it contained by a different computer and do a chkdsk scan on it.go to run type cmd after type chkdsk:\d or whatever reminder your hard drive is coming up as to find that out simply go to my computer and it will be displayed in attendance. hope this helps
