Answer:
If your monitor have both digital and analog cords, make sure you with the sole purpose hook up one to your video card, not both. And if you have one hooked up that's still out of order, try the other. If that doesn't work, try a different monitor from a friend.
The monitor is something that should come up even before your tinker beside the BIOS or anything else (for obvious reasons), so within aren't that many possible explanations. The suggestions to check your BIOS aren't awfully helpful to you if you can't even see your peak.
Also, check to make sure your vidoe card give some sign of life (fan comes on, LED lights up, something). If you ponder it might be the video card, try to get a cheap used one or borrow one from a friend to experiment with.
One more piece, does your computer emit a sound the horn code when you try to start it up? If it does, try to write down the sequence of long and short beeps, and you can look it up online. A typical boot will give one short honk.
hit F8 at bootup and see if it will go into safemode and show up .. if so install the video driver ...
Check you Bios, see what is have listed. Until Windows is started, the bios is how it get that far. Sounds to me, the bios is right, you will need to nouns the system disc for that monitor. Check online, google, loading a new computer, steps to transport.
Hope that helps
Did you format and divider it.and make the parition live?
