Whats a accurate intel cpu to buy?
Answer:
I'm sorry to see people recommend the Pentium D
NEVER BUY A PENTIUM D!!! They're HORRIBLE!
the reason is that their architecture is worthy of something Microsoft made (very bleak!).
I've been making this comparison a great deal lately..
(both cpu with a single core)
2.2ghz intel *not pentium D*>>>>> 3.5ghz Intel pent D
Most family don't know this but the clock speed doesn't show how well a CPU can run a computer. Sure the Pentium d is "faster" at crunching numbers BUT the other one is more "efficient." It's approaching a v8 engine in a dump truck compared to a v6 engine contained by a sports car. The sports vehicle WILL go faster! its nucking futs!!! a core 2 duo processor (ANY model) will tear down a Pentium D because:
1- it has TWO cores (both cores run at the advertise speed)
ex 2.6ghz dual core = 5.2ghz total clock speed
2- it's architecture is much better than a Pentium D (muuuuch more efficient)
I would recommend that you save a touch bit more money to buy at least an e6400 but if you MUST buy a processor very soon go for the e6300
basically a little sidenote
near is no such thing as a dual core pentium D. Pentium D cpus one and only come in one flavour, which is inefficient single core
next to that kind of budget, a short time ago get intel pentium D dual core!
this is what psyche get if 170.00 is adjectives i had--
Intel Pentium D 945 Presler 3.4GHz 2 x 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor

167.00 - can send me the swing for helping:)built about 20 amd base computers and I'm switching to Intel for now. The chip i picked is dual core but nifty and quad core is expensive and slower in most games because it hasn't be programmed for--save money for sli quad video card and sweet speakers or headphones.
simply looked at reviews on neweggs site of your mother board ,it gets elevated reviews-- heres link http://www.newegg.com/product/product.as... subsequently
I know your own a budget. So check out www.tigerdirect.com They seem to hold very honourable prices. Also, check this out http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/...
Guarenteed to be the fastest processor on the market right very soon. And with FOUR cores, it will be speedily enough to serve you for heaps many years to come.
Definitely, win the Core 2 Duo E6300. It's much better than the Pentium D or Pentium 4 and most AMD processors as well.
You can also overclock it comparatively high if you know what you're doing.
