i enjoy a good powersupply from a PC and i want to put it surrounded by a G3 Powermac (blue and white, and yes it is the rite type of PS) now i know i own to cut the -5 wire to know how to transplant it.
my question is, which line is the -5?

also im throwing in a 10gb hdd (again the rite type for a mac)
it have windows 2000 on it and i want to erase EVERYTHING on it so i can install a verbs OSX on it. how would i go in the region of doing so?

Answer:
There are a number of drive erasing utilities available as free ware that write adjectives zeros to the drive. It asks you to provide a floppy that the utility make bootable. Overwriting essentially makes it virgin similar to the day you bought it. The O.S. should do the formatting as element of the fresh install.
Well im not to familure with macs, so i cant minister to you out with the format. Beside use something similar to partion magic and format it into a mac hedge

as for the power supply the -5 is pin number 13. if the notch on th e ps is facing you it is the 3 pin on your disappeared in the bottom row.
the power supply should work fine
the -5V supply is probably wan, but it depends on what kind of connector you enjoy

you could reformat the drive in window using the fdisk utility, but you would have to be cautious to make sure you select a format that will work beside OSX - you could also use the OSX equivalent, but I am not sure what it is called
