near only this one spectator sport once i close it my screen go black-everything freezes when i control alt delete to end program it finally closes but a bunch of small green squares appear contained by my systray and when i close all these out-it say its a task arranger. only simply started doing this and alot of times i have to unplug my comp. because i cant reboot.

As the first poster suggested, try updating your video drivers. If that doesn't work, check to see if the winter sport has any patch available from the manufacturer's site. If they have a tech support forum for their activity, see if there are any similar issues reported. You can also convey an e-mail to their tech support so they are aware of the problem and maybe they can issue a patch contained by future. The other possibility is it's a hardware problem on your PC. Sometimes impossible graphics card memory causes problems similar to this to occur but that is to say not always the grip especially if it is isolated to a specific program.

Sounds to me like your video card driver. Might want to check the driver for updates...

Yup, its the video card, the hardware itself. try replacing it next to a good adapter, if the problem stick with, it could be the agp/pci slot on the mboard but it is highly not likely.
Had the same problem, the effect was that my adapter overheated,expanding circuits-
