If u own a registered licensed copy of the Windows XP disk for your computer.and be sure to have the serial # handy too...Be sure to pick up any important files or docs. to a disk. Insert the XP disc into the cd or dvd rom. Click "Install Windows XP". You a few option to choose from. You want to install and overwrite the existing copy. It will warn you that choosing this likelihood will reformat and erase all information. This is the prospect you want to start off beside... a fresh and error free computer system.

Find your Windows XP CD ROM - when you start up, put the compact disc in. You should capture an MS-DOS menu asking if you want to Format the Drive. Select Yes and follow instructions etc.

You can basically go to the Control panel, and afterwards Add/Remove Programs. get rid of everything you don't want, next restart the computer. you can also go surrounded by and just delete adjectives the files you don't want. There are also disks you can buy that will help you totally restore your computer.

You must reformat, contact a computer store in your nouns and ask them how much it may cost, or you could aquire a copy of a windows compact disc to reformat your computer yourself, I'd say Windows XP, as Windows Vista is still greatly new and unpredictable. Or close to the others say progress to Control panel in the start menu, after to add/remove programs and remove items you no longer need.

You can do a reformat which will basically erase everything and install simply basic programs. You can do that by using your disc Rom installation disc. When it loads up you will see blue screen etc. And dance through that process you will be able to reformat it.
However, kind sure you back up your crucial files if any.
If there are deeply of programs you don't need, you can also uninstall those programs by going to your Control Panel and choose uninstall whichever program you don't want. That is if you don't want to do a reinstallation (which generally can bear up to a few hours)
