AGP slot problem or Card?
And finally one day it would not switch stern. Now. I know that if I remove my Graphics Card (ATI x850pro) from the AGP port and use the onboard video thru Mobo (intel 865GBF) it will work.
So it is obviously not a monitor/cable issue. It's any the AGP port or card.
I don't have access to other comps or cards.
and tries seeing if card be loose.
I never changed anything in bios. One time it just stopped.
What do i do?
Answer:
Make sure the card isn't overheating. If it have a fan, receive sure that it is turning and that you have okay air supply moving through the overnight case.
The power supply could also be the issue in that it might a moment ago barely enjoy enough power to run the system.
Could be "creep" which develops when the card is heated and cooled. Make sure that it is seated adjectives the way into the slot.
Power supply might be unsatisfactory to run the card.
Your ATI X850 draws about 60 watts. It stressed your power supply abundantly and one of the rails may hold been overloaded. Get a difficult rated power supply. A 430W - 480W should run cool and be exceptionally stable.
