My experience is beside Logitech webcams. They come with simple to use software.
when u buy a webcam it comes next to software with it such as the cords/cord and it comes near a disk its very simple to use i know kuz i enjoy one in certainty when u 1st install it just stick the disk surrounded by the drive and follow the directions unless u cant read but other then that u shouldnt own any problems
All Web cams / Camera's need software to receive them work via the pc. I would recommend you look at http://www.tigerdirect.com for a cheap but clothed and easy to use net cam. The web cam should come beside it's software controller/ driver and utility programs.
Which ever webcam you get, they will come beside a setup program. As for chatting, you either use Netmeeting, Yahoo, or Camfrog. They are adjectives easy to install and adjectives you do is follow the webcam directions for basic setup, procure you choice of messanger, and go to the settings factor in the messanger to tune your cam and audio (if you are getting a cam next to audio or a mic). Easy. You buy it and then beside it comes the cam, a booklet and a disk. You start to read the book when it tells you to put the disk contained by then you do it the disk will guide you through but if that isnt adequate you can use the manuel to help out. It will usally own some type of program that it installs to manage the cam but its nought you ever have to accord with it of late sits there on your desktop. Then once its installed you stir to the program you want to use to display the picture (ie. MSN, Yahoo Messenger, Online Chat) then it will start it for you and you can cam away!
