I hold put a disc contained by my computer and it won't come out.?
Answer:
Perhaps. What operating system are you running? If you are run Linux or a Unix variant, it may be that the disk is "mounted" and won't eject unless unmounted. Try the command "eject" or "eject cdrom." If that doesn't work, try shutting down your computer, and hitting the eject button as it's restarting.
For Windows, also try the restarting trick.
Most, but not adjectives, CDROM drives have a small hole contained by the face plate, below the disk drawer. Insert a stiff wire, resembling a straighted paper clip into the hole, and you can force the drawer to unlatch. It may bear some fishing around to find the right spot to push.
Good luck.
Restart your computer and hold the eject button the entire time it's starting up.
There should be a Pin-Hole near the disc drive-You inevitability to carefully insert a Needle or composition clip.
This will manually eject the Disc.
Or try restarting the machine-normally pops out on Boot-up!
get a tabloid clip and poke it into the little hole you see on the front of the drive, this will make the trya sympathetic up.
Sorry i have no hypothesis for it ,but one way that hammer it with basebat till disc come out ! ha ha ( sorry , basically joke)
its simple
Both the paper clip & the turn stale & turn on methods work...assuming the CD is sit correctly in the tray.
i suggest using a tack hammer. hee hee
I can't believe no-one said pray! where are the god mob when you have need of them for something practical. O.k try the restart and then the pin-hole if that doesn't work.
You sometimes seize this problem if you have a fruitless disc that the pc can't read properly, it basically keeps trying to nouns it.
press eject hmmm
I agree fully with J. Charles
only be careful, it looks resembling the CD is jammed against something preventing it to reopen.
You didn't read out whether it was a compact disc or a floppy. I once had to initiate my tower because a floppy had jammed contained by the drive. Wasn't hard to fix, although the disc be knackered. The metal slide had gotten distorted somehow and I have to get the drive out to sort it but it wasn't difficult.
Restart computer, hold button surrounded by for disc tray at the same time
If it's a compact disc or DVD that's stuck, look for the pinhole below the CD tray and use an unfurl paper clip and press it surrounded by there. If it's a floppy disk that you own stuck, don't, whatever you do get hold of it with anything and verbs it out. This will only bend the read head out of alignment. You'll need to filch the floppy drive apart. (No doubt, you'll find that the metal flap has come loose, or twisted surrounded by some manner.)
