If I buy an AGP graphics card will I still know how to put it into a PCI slot?

Answer:
No.... undeniably not.
It is designed to fit into an AGP slot (hence the name).

as you would expect not. There's a slot for AGP card, and it depends in what benevolent of slot we are talking. If you enjoy an 8X AGP card you have to be deeply careful to insert it contained by the apropiate mother Board. If not you could burn your Graphic Card. Check for your MB Manual and check if it is compatible with your AGP Graphic Card.

luck
NOPE!

It uses an AGP slot, which is different from a PCI slot.

Check your motherboard almanac to see if:
1. The motherboard HAS an AGP slot, and
2. The SPEED of the card needed. (2,4,8, etc.) In some cases, it can accept more than 1 type, but not other.

THEN get the proper AGP card.
Get a PCI X16 Card Agp is outdated and soon will be antiquated. They AGP cards are not that much cheaper and most motherboards support PCI now anyways. If you already enjoy the card then stick beside it but if not stir with PCI. Oh and the answer is no. Plus PCI is much faster. Data Transfer rates are superior. Which means better and faster actions.
