when i be in motion to device manager, it say "windows have properly loaded the hardware device drivers but cannot locate the hardware device" and if plugged/replugged/ purchased new c:drive.. zilch, says same piece? any suggestions/helps plz, anything is appreciated. also ive tryed updated the drivers but nada...

make sure electrics is ryt ... load a sata driver if u necessitate it .. set jumpers ... and nouns bios defaults ..
Is this an spare hard drive? "C: drive" is simply a drive letter.
It is SATA or ATA? If it is ATA, are the jumper on the back of the drive correct? Have you partitioned and formatted the drive?
