Seagate freeagent desktop on usb 1.1?

I am looking at getting a external unyielding drive for my powermac g4 "quicksilver" My computer only have usb 1.1 ports and I need to know if the Seagate Freeagent Desktop 250GB and the Maxtor OneTouch III 200GB external knotty drives work with usb 1.1.

All the newer external hard drive are towards the back compatible to usb 1.1 especially from the name brand companies you cited.
While lots are compatible with USB 1.1, USB 1.1 is 1/40 the speed of USB 2.0. You can buy a PCI to USB 2.0 card for $10.
