Answer:
The minimum requirements for Vista are as follows:
VISTA HARDWARE CHECKLIST

Minimum Recommended
Processor 800MHz - 1GHz 32 or 64 bit
System Memory 512MB -1GB
Graphics card DirectX 9 capable - Runs Windows Aero
Graphics Memory - - 128MB
Free space on Hard Drive 15GB 15GB

From personal experience near a 1.4ghz computer don't waste your time Vista run like a slug. Not worth the time XP next to all of the service pack and drivers would be the best way to step for your computer.
no you can not - not sure about the pross. speed but you involve 1 gig push for sure - hope that helps you
a process is not surrounded by MB's....its 800 Mhz

processor is way past its sell-by date the mark....u at lowest possible need p4 2.4 ghz or AMD 2500+

512....is minimum if its DDR knock against, SD-RAM is too slow(512+256 recommended)

HDD is fine
