What's your budget close to? You looking for a card around $200 or something at $300 or $550? There are different "best buys" at different price points. That said, if you're simply looking for the best gaming video card currently on the market, Nvidia's 8800 GTX have an ironclad grip on that title.

ATI's R600 line (the 2900 XTX) looks to bring that crown, but is not available yet, and end I heard the release date be delayed until the 3rd quarter of 2007.
