Are you wanting to install a program or copy photos from a camera or a disk to your computer? What exactly are you wanting to do?
If I be a smart @$$ I'd say turn bad your computer, pul the hard drive out and set a cup of coffee on it and next you have stuff on your hard-drive but I'm not a smart@$$ so if you can utter what it is you want to do I'd be happy to help out.

Just save them on the unyielding drives.
get the disc, then put it contained by on of its disk drives. now i know something will pop up. u should be capable of know what to do next
