Does anyone know how to connect Maxtor Shared Storage Plus beside Windows Vista?

The shared storage works fine next to other PC running XP in the introduce yourself, and there is no Vista driver within Maxtor's (now Seagate) website.

Answer:
Sorry bro, no idea.
I'm competent to see my Maxtor Shared Storage from Vista and can access the public areas, but I can't log in to my private nouns. I just found a solution on the Maxtor (now Seagate) net site that works. Vista defaults to allowing merely NTLM authentication. The Maxtor drive requires LM authentication. If you have Vista Ultimate or better you can use the policy editor to silver the setting. If you have Vista Home Basic or Premium you own to edit the registry. The instructions are totally specific and easy to follow. Just trademark sure you backup your registry (using File > Export in regedit) earlier changing anything.
