My speakers are broken and it bugs me, because i love listen to music. It is all plugged surrounded by properely and they don't make any nouns. The kind I haveis AC97 i suppose, thats what it says when i roll the mouse over the Sound Effects contained by the Control Panel...

3 reasons:
1st: some virus can affect sound,try to clear them....
2nd: perchance the driver of sound be broken,try to reinstall it...
3rd: your speakers are really broken.fix it or change a exotic one...
go to control Panel and afterwards sound devices and see if they are muted. save then redownload the AC 97 driver
If they're broken next they're broken. Not much you can do about that... except as you would expect buy new ones.
