I am a unmarked Skype user. I'm running it on a MacBook, and am have trouble next to my headset.?

I've gone into system preferences and told it that I am running an external microphone. I'm stuck immediately! Can anyone suggest a solution? Or tell me what I'm doing wrong??

Answer:
I would first download the most modern driver(s) for your headset (you should get them directly from the manufacturer's website).

I would after download the latest revision of Skype for Mac (2.0.0.6).

You should also go into Software Update and download adjectives the updates that are available for your system.

Hopefully, that will fix your problem. If not, contact tech support for the headset manufacturer.
Have you gone into the skype settings and preferred your external headset in audio in/out if you are running usb?
