Why doesnt my front panel audio/microphone jack work?

i own logitech speaker system in the backside audio output and i want to connect my headphone/microphone head set contained by the front audio jacks but i get no response

the usb surrounded by front panel works

Answer:
may be the front panel audio jacks wire are not connected to your motherboard. Even if it is connected may be the pullover setting has disable it. You requirement to check the manual of MB to see where on earth is that jumper
turn past its sell-by date your computer then plug surrounded by your usb then turn your computer spinal column on worked for me
If your CPU is DIY, will have to see whether your motherboard support front panel audio/mic. You might hold to open up your CPU and check whether the cable are connected to your motherboard too.
Check for jumpers on your motherboard to put into action them.
