2 Types of pci cards?

i be thinking of buying a pci card for my computer but there are two types of pci cards ones resembling this ----- ----------- and the other one looks like this ----- ------------ ----- i own a slot like the one at the top ----- ---------- whick card do i buy does it really issue wat type of card i buy arent they the same

Ok I contemplate your thinking about pci and pci express. pci express is for gaming its a video card slot and pci is for other things approaching modems, sound cards, and other things.

So if your looking at getting a activity card get the one on the bottom.--- ------------ ---and if you are getting something else acquire this one---- -----------hope that helps:)
The one on top is the AGP slot for the video, the rest are PCI slots...
Oh 3.3v PCI and 5v PCI, I'm not rather sure which is which but if the card can fit the contacts you should be able to use it (I never remunerated attention to it), there is also a magazine difference as one cycles faster MHz, check the PCI engineering paper if you so desired because I reason no one can inform you exact answer here.

Un;ess it is PCI-E you are talking give or take a few; but they don't physically fit anyway they are located toward the back compare to regular PCI.
