I currently hold a ati x800xt pe card, which I think would probally do me till consequently, but im having really bleak overheating problems with it and would fairly just carry another card to hold me over till the dx10ers are released. Could anyone reccomend a decent card better than my current that would hold me over till consequently ? In the $250 Canadian range if at all possible

the dx10'ers have be released in the form of the nVidia 8800 series. the GTS is $420 after MiR and the GTX is ~$550 i have an idea that. if you want to wait till the mid-range video cards come out...your video card should do fine and any upgrade would be a spend of money.

In any defence, go near the 8800GTX, it is DX10 / vista compatible.
