Logitech Quick Cam Express Help?
Answer:
Hi, dear!
First of all don't plug the camera within before you install the software. If you already connected it try to unplug and plug to another USB port. If "New hardware found" message appears consequently it's OK. In this case don't click on any of buttons close to Next or Cancel.
Insert the camera CD to your CDROM drive. If it have autorun function then it should display some nature of menu like "install software or driver". Just click the button and it will front you through the setup. If there is no onscreen menu you hold to install the soft manually. Look up for folder names Driver or Software and within must be setup.exe or install.exe
If there is no message? /New hardware found/
Then you enjoy to go to Settings - Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device governor . There you will see an item with washed out question speck. Maybe it will be Camera or Imaging device or just Unknown . Right click on it and select Reinstall/Update driver. A porthole will pop up asking you to install the driver automatically or from a specific location. Insert the CD right surrounded by and Windows will choose the best driver automatically.
Try this. If no result contact me again.
