Some hold to soldered into place with several wires. Either route, you have to be capable of take apart your PS2 and put it subsidise together at a bare minimum. A small bit of electronics experience wouldn't hurt. If you've never taken apart a VCR or a disc player or anything electronic, I wouldn't attempt it.
Search for a program called DevHook. The PSP software have to be the first version, or a Japanese model. If not, some PSPs can enjoy the firmware downgraded. Once this is done, you need a wearing clothes size Memory Stick, 2Gb is great. Then download DevHook and install it on your Mem Stick. Then go to www.bitsoup.com, or similar site, and download your game(s). Once you enjoy the file, compress it and using your USB file, transfer the folder onto the Mem Stick in your PSP. Then, when you switch on, you will be prompted to update the firmware - DON'T!!! Go to the games menu, select DevHook, run this. Then, follw the instructions you will receive from DevHook, and you can run the record on your PSP, the PSP will think you are using the UMD (You must enjoy one in at adjectives times, I use the Demo UMD you get near the PSP) You can hold around 4 -6 decent size games on a 2Gb, I find this sufficient.
