When i start up my external tricky drive it clicks for nearly 3 minutes until that time it powers up, what does this be determined?
Answer:
It technique that you are about to experience a drive crash. Make sure the facts is backed up and replace it ASAP.
The clicking could any be the motor is having a thorny time getting up to speed or the R/W heads are germ to fail.

If so, it show your HD is almost time to said bye bye. Some other problem may coz this happen is resembling you using a p2p program to download something it will do the read & write hundred time in a minute so it coz your HD blow, the HD cable get some problem (can try to change it) or the pullover on the HD is wrong.
