External Hard Drive?

I hold an external hard drive (250 GB) and I just now dropped it on the floor. It still turns on, it starts loading up, then starts clicking, and stops trying to nouns. I'm not sure what to do with it. Is within somewhere where I could catch it repaired or is there some method I could repair it myself? I need it by Friday (5 Days). Please comfort me!!!!!!

Answer:
In all odds you will be out of look. Looks like the controller of your harddisk is broken.

There are some companies that you can transport the harddisk to that will recover it for you but it is not cheap.

Check out http://www.certifieddatarecovery.com/... or phone 1-866 DATA LAB. They recover harrdisks general.

Hope this helps!
easier said than done drives have nothing tolerance towards physical damage. There is no agency to repair the actual drive itself. Only way is to replace the complicated drive in the covering.
sorry, but u will have to buy a up to date one, newegg they have fitting prices
Nopers you are gone but if you want to salvage data perchance try to open the cover and afterwards run it but be careful not to touch the disk inside and you will be capable of only run it once or twice so be rushed
