I enjoy a Maxtor ext HD replacement, and my comp wont recognise it..any sugs?

Plug it contained by (USB connection) makes the rumble that always happen, go to MY COMP, and it's not within!.. brand new etc...suggestions?

Me too. I'll be interested to hear the fix. Only difference is that mine is old and it used to work great.

Mate it it could be unsound, install it as a slave IDE and see if it is detected.
