Ok, I own Vista RC1 installed and a nVidia GeForce FX 5200 graphics card, which is Vista capable. I hold installed the WDM drivers from the cd that came beside the card but when I start my machine the computer used standard vga drivers and not the wdm drivers. I can see that the files from the cd own been installed surrounded by
Windows>system32>drivers...als... where the vga driver is but window wont see those??
Answer:
firs toff uninstall your old drivers.
walk to start>control panel>add/remove then click on Nvidia display drivers and click uninstall.
after that travel to this site
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x8...
and download that and install the drivers.
(assuming you are using the x86 version of window vista)
Go to nVidia's site and download the Vista drivers for an FX5200. The CD almost patently didn't come with those.
