How to put 2 hdd's....?

go buy yourself a PCI RAID card, next setup the hard drives as RAID 0. This will create one LARGE dividing wall out of the 2 hard drives, i.e. if you hold 2 80 gig HDs, it will be accredited as 1 160gig HD. However, if you have 2 different size HDs, after it will only certificate the size of the smaller drive, i.e. 1 80 gig HD 1 60 see HD = 1 120GIG partition. The benefit to RAID 0 is the speed, as partly the information will be written to one hard drive, and the partner to the other, completing the write time of any given file to partly the time. HOWEVER, if one hard drive fail, ALL your information will be lost. Good luck
I don't believe you can combined two hard drives to exploit as just one.
You can't. There's no road you can put two separate HD to work as one unless you designate the other one as mirror and it must be SATA.
I did that on my wife's parent's computer but just not here them as 2 separate drives... I thought I was a dapper freak, does it really matter if you connect them as one drive for your computer? Either mode you'll have equal space, just 2 different drives on your computer. (C and D--depending on the existing drives if you own any.)
If you wanna make it as one hedge ( all 160 see as C ) its not possible I guess. Also lemme know if they are SATA or IDE concrete drives. I guess you'll have to step with c:\ ( 80 see ) & D:\ ( 80 gig ) or you can try reinstalling Windows after a complete formating I guess when it'll ask you to select the screen you want to install windows or create over near delete the C & D then the complete 160 see would be unused space now select that space to install window then the complete 160 see will be together as C:\ with you window installed in it. I enjoy pratically tried it so lemme know if it works. I am running on a Seagate 160 gig SATA ( 7200rpm & 8mb cache )
you enjoy to get the cable that approaching gray cable (sorry im tired i forgot the name of it) its inside the compute. gain one thats like have 4 input things for the harddrive prongs
2 that are together into another one. so you can put 2 harddrives together and go into 1 cord. or you purely change it from a slave to something else. reaed the sticky label or go to goolge. sorry i coulednt be more helP!
two rock-hard drives to appear as one. the only style you are going to get explicitly if you have some sort of RAID array. This would require two or more of duplicate exact hard drives and soe sort of mugging controller.
You are going to have do some research to see what type of RAID array is best for your wants.

Apparantly a lot of answerers haven't hear of something called RAID. In your travel case what you want is RAID 0 or JBOD. In order to run them similar to this you need to own a RAID controller on your motherboard or a RAID controller installed in your computer, here is a page of them on newegg:http://www.newegg.com/productsort/subcat...

EDIT: Just so you know they don't enjoy to be the same size to use JBOD, but within your case to be precise irrelevant as they are the same size.
Don't mess next to the jumpers. If you can access both drives (as separate drives) from Windows, the jumper are fine and there's nothing else you can do in that to solve your problem; the answer will be either contained by the OS or software (or as another person pointed out, a RAID controller).
you enjoy to have a RAID card to do that you own to add it surrounded by the PCI slot on your mobo if you want that if there arn't SATA
