Whats better window xp home or pro and whats better for gaming home or pro gratefulness?

i can carry my geforce 5200 to work with pro but near home it works fine y

Answer:
Well pro is better for older computers since it works faster than home but better for gaming depends on the altered copy i advice pro built 2600 for games.
Good Luck
Neither will effect gaming more than the other. Pro is better overall though for a multitude of other applications.
i ruminate what you can do is put the graphic card contained by there. Once you turn on the computer you should install the drivers they give you in a disc. Pro seems to own a little more guarantee so i think you hold to do something with the guarantee.
xp pro has department programs on it like microsoft word you dont have need of that for gaming though the home version should be fine
None of the answers are really correct.
Yes you should install the drivers for your video card, but download the lastest from the nvidia website, the ones you get with the card is as a rule really outdated.

Pro is not more secure afterwards Home edition, nor does it come with Microsoft word.
The solitary word processors thats standard in ALL window versions are wordpad and notepad.

Pro is not faster after Home edition, it just comes near more administrator features, Network control, backup manager, and it provides support for multi-processor systems.
Other next that, there is no diffrence.

For playing games, it does not event which one you use.
XP Home is a cut down version of Pro. It loses the NTFS shelter options also lacks some of the diagnostic and support tools included contained by Pro. Also Home restricts the way you be in command of some aspects of the system forcing you to use control panel applets instead of mmc plugins or otherwise (users is a perfect example). On Home you enjoy 2 choices for a user account. They can any be limited or an admin. On Pro you hold many possibilities. Pro is more out of harm`s way than Home. Also more scalable if you know what you are doing. So a properly set up install of Pro would be more efficient for gaming. My laptop have Pro installed and it uses less RAM after one with the Home variation installed. I would do a fresh install of Pro and before you install anything else uninstall movie author and all the other extras surrounded by Pro that you do not need. Then you will hold a scaled down book of Pro that will run faster and perform better. Well at least possible compared to other MS platforms. As for the comments regarding programs such as word and organization. Those are not included in Pro. They are seperately installed. Usually works comes installed on Home from the factory and Office on Pro from the factory. If you install it yourself you will not own Office or Works. Just remember if it is windows it will be slow unless you cut out adjectives the fat that Microsoft like to put in it.
i focus it was your driver idiosyncrasy
