What is lightscribe technology and do I entail to draw from it when i purchase a dvd burner?

isnt getting a standard 16X DL DVD+/- R drive biddable enough or do you want lightscribe or RAM capability

i know nothing roughly speaking this except i want to burn dvd movies

Answer:
Lightscribe technology is basically the proficiency of a DVD burner to burn images or words on the flip side of the DVD--a labeler, if you will. I'd find it unnecessary, unless you want to trade name professional looking labels on your discs.
lightscribe is a special laser contained by your dvd burner... burn flip burn... you burn the cd/dvd, and then flip it, you will have need of some special cds/dvds from hp.... the top is brownish and you could usually do it w/ a label making program that comes w/ the comp... usually sonic or some others
A DVD burner is if truth be told just a compact disc burner with a different label so people will buy them! Companies encrypt movies so you can not copy them!
i reckon lightscribe helps burn the stuff onto the black CD/DVD im not entirely sure though
