Will this webcam work?

My notebook (HP) processor speed is 1.60 ghz, the webcam (HP also) i'd resembling to buy states the processor should run at 1.75 ghz. I'm using a Logitech Orbit MP webcam right now, but it make my sytem crash now. I've REdownloaded the drivers, but that does not relieve. I was thinking conceivably if I keep it adjectives HP it will be more compatible. WILL the processor speed be a REAL issue

Answer:
Ike...

I don't know what specs are telling you almost the 1.75 GHz, but here's the specs from Logitech's website:

System Requirements

Windows 2000, Windows XP Pentium 4 1.4 GHz or AMD Athlon 1GHz processor (Pentium 4 2.4 GHz recommended)
128MB RAM (256 MB recommended)
Windows Vista
Pentium 4 2.4 GHz (2.8 GHz recommended)
512MB RAM (1GB recommended)
200 MB hard drive
CD-ROM drive
16-bit color display adapter
OS compatible nouns card and speakers
1.1 or 2.0 USB port

In my opinion, if anything *might* produce that cam crap out the OS it's likely a shortage of memory or very old drivers for the audio/and or video. If you are at all inclined to step the way of frustrated vendetta, uninstall and reinstall the camera drivers, after your display adapter drivers and then your audio.

Remember, within order to properly establish your system you own to uninstall reboot and reinstall the driver set back onto the system. Reinstalling overtop of elder drivers does work in some cases, but when adjectives else fails...

Hope this help...
I am a believer that if you have not get what it nedds to run do not buy it.
